Textile course with Japanese inspiration
I have just returned from a fantastic 3-week trip around Japan, and I would like to share the inspiration I have brought home with you.
As a very special gift, you will have the opportunity to choose a vintage kimono of your choice from my personal collection, which I have brought back directly from Japan.
Would you like to take part in a very special course where you create your very own design based on beautiful Japanese vintage kimonos?
Together with other exciting textiles, we transform the materials into clothing or home textiles in a kind of textile collage.
It can end up in jackets, pants, skirts, vests, bathrobes and accessories - all with soul and personality.
I have many years of experience with upcycling vintage textiles and have taught sewing for several years. The course is aimed at: from slightly experienced to very experienced sewing.

Practical Information
- Location: The house in Hejls - a cozy and atmospheric setting for the 5-day course.
- Accommodation: Single rooms with bed linen and towels
- Participants: Max. 10 students
- Bring: Your own sewing machine and possibly an overlocker
- Catering: Delicious homemade food for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as coffee and cake
- Teaching: 5 hours daily, Monday-Thursday, and open workshop 24/7
- Extra:
Daily morning exercises (for those who wish)
Walks in the beautiful nature around the house.
Exhibition visit.
Stories with pictures from my trip to Japan.
Optional vintage kimono from my collection.
- Price: 6000 DKK for the entire course.
- Registration : Send an email and write whether you want to register for course no. 1, 2 or course no. 3.
You will then receive an email from me confirming your registration. Payment of 1500,- upon registration, the rest of the amount is paid 8 weeks before the course is held.
The amounts are not refundable upon cancellation, but you are welcome to find someone who can take over the place, or if there is a waiting list, you will get the 4500, - back.
